Something’s not right

I can’t cope

I can’t cope

Hi. I’m new and have never been in anything like this before.
I’m really struggling with depression at the moment and just need a place to vent.
there is no reason as to why I feel this way. I just hate myself and feel like I’m an unworthy and useless person. I don’t have a partner or many friends. I feel like I keep pushing them away when I’m down. I’m just not worthy of them. I hate life and just wish I would go to sleep and not wake up. I feel so much emotional pain inside but numb at the same time. None of this makes any sense but it just how I feel.

Re: I can’t cope

@Captain24 you are definitely allowed to rest! I've had my shower now, it was nice and warm.

We get ridiculous temperatures here during summer and the nights are so hot. I've got ducted aircon but it's only evaporative so struggles when it's humid. But even during summer I sleep with my sheet, weighted blanket, quilt and comforter 😂.

I need to do my dishes and then decide if I'm going to do diamond art or cover these books for a school that I picked up this morning.

Re: I can’t cope

I’ve had mine too. You know those showers that have 2 shower heads? The ones with the top one and with the removable change heads. I have one of those. So I had a very mindful shower. I usually just use the hand held one in its holder. I showered and washed my hair with that. Then I soaped up my body and put the top one on. It’s really gentle so I stood under that and let it wash over me. I felt the soap bubbles gliding off my body and the water running through my hair. It was so so so nice! @MissGremlin

I still have my hair in a towel so I’ll make my wraps and then go and dry it. Then it’s time for the walk!

I’ve heard that they aren’t so great in the heat. But I guess it’s something. It’s just a sheet and doona for me but I feel really snuggly.

I love covering books and miss it! Maybe do them and then they are done. Do them for the next hour and a half and then we can diamond art together!

Re: I can’t cope

@Captain24 that sounds like such a relaxing shower! I love just standing under it and letting the water wash over me, I try to imagine it washing all the negative things away.

My hair is still in a towel aswell but I let it dry naturally as I don't have a hair dryer, the noise is the irritates me. I hope you enjoy the walk. I just put the pillow cases on and I'm going to put the quilt cover on in a minute, oh and I did my dishes.

I love feeling snuggly in bed especially with Casper against me.

I love covering books and haven't gotten to do it for a while as I already did the others they had. But they got new books in and they only trust me with the good ones 😂.

Re: I can’t cope

My dogs got attacked!!! They were so scared and yelling and screaming and didn’t settle for the rest of the walk. I didn’t either. I was so scared. My heart was racing I was shaking for most of the walk. @MissGremlin I kept putting myself between the dog and my babies hoping it would bite me and not them.

Re: I can’t cope

@Captain24 omg that's so scary. Was the dog with an owner? Are they ok and how are you holding up sweet?

Re: I can’t cope

The dog just sits in the front lawn while the guy is out the front doing things. It’s there all the time and it just watches my dogs walk by. No reaction no nothing. But this time it didn’t. He was absolutely shocked. He said she had never done it before. He had to crash tackle her and she got in trouble. Then he tried to get her back across the road and she broke free and went them again. He got her the second time and she was gentle and friendly @MissGremlin. I rang mum because I was so shaken and so were they. So she is going to watch and take care of them when she walks tomorrow with them. Encourage them and let them know that they are safe. Every dog that barked at a fence they jumped away from. Tails down and ears back.

They seem good now and I’m starting to calm down. I have need 3 smokes though!

Poor Pixie was shaking that much that she could barely stand up. It was after her the most.

Re: I can’t cope

@Captain24 I'm glad the owner was there to help, it's unusual when the dog has never reacted before. I'm glad you were able to ring mum, hopefully they'll be ok when they walk tomorrow. Poor little darlings would have been so scared, lots of cuddles for them today.

You did well sweet, you got through a really scary time so it's understandable that it will take time to calm down. Sending you lots of love and hugs ❤️.

Re: I can’t cope

I’m a little worried about Pix. I might ring the vet and see if I can get her checked over. Also worried about the shock and her diabetes. @MissGremlin. I just don’t have the money.

Re: I can’t cope

@Captain24 I can understand about being worried about her. Let me know what the vet says when you can sweet. Thinking of you all ❤️.

Re: I can’t cope

She is booked in at 3:10 with one of her vets. So I can also ask about the shock and diabetes. @MissGremlin
