@Chasingsunsets it was so funny yesterday . I was walking behind a magpie that nonchalantly went from side to side of the footpath finding yummy critters to eat, it didn't care at all that I was waiting.

@Chasingsunsets I've never been swooped by local magpies but got a fright from one flying under the carport once.
But I've been swooped when the masked lapwings had a chick.
I only just saw your photo of the lotuses - lovely. I wish there was a placeholder in posts to say images are waiting for moderation. Only the author sees it now.
