Hello

Hello @Shaz51 @Naturelover @ChasingSunsets @TAB @MissGremlin and everyone. Sorry I can't remember a lot of usernames and I'm not sure notifications are working.

Sending greetings and commiserations. My account has had some bugs - still does - but I'd like to share group 🫂 hugs

Re: Hello

@Cuddlebear I saw your comment in another thread about feeling ghosted. I'm sorry if that was me. We started conversing in this thread but I got the impression you rejected my offer of friendship in not responding, and I tried to respect that by not pursuing it.

No need to reply... but I do sincerely wish you well.

Re: Hello

@Dimity Oh no. I definately want to be friends. If I don’t reply it’s only because I’m a complete wreck and have no ability to do it. Then all the notifications pile up and I’m legally blind and it makes it hard to get to older posts to me cause of disability. I’m so sorry I gave you the wrong impression. When I said ghosting I was talking more about people I’ve known in real life. I really really value your friendship here.

Re: Hello

Evening @Dimity, how are you going? Gosh your local magpies are kind to you 🤣🤭. I always feel lucky when I am walking with a dog cos generally the swoop the dog before me 🤣. Oh the plovers!! Does not help that they nest on the ground. That is one breed of bird that I don’t love at times. There babies are so cute though but the survival rate of the babies isn’t good odds. They are pretty clever though, a parent can pretend to be injured to lure away prey they are really interesting birds.

gah since the financial year they have well upped there price definitely not good for customers. Pretty crazy prices. Thinking I might just have to join a gym that has reformers and do it that was probably a lot cheaper. Got to start moving my body again fell in a big hole 🕳️ for a while there plus a couple of other things happening. I am hoping I’m coming out the other end of this one cos that was epically bad 🤪. Always a lot to learn though and you know what, I wish I could learn so much more. I think part of one of my problem is wanting to understand everything but my prefrontal cortex does not work well. This does not help my quest in learning and understanding and then there goes another cycle or down another rabbit hole 🫠. Often misunderstood a lot by some but generally people who know me understand me so I feel a lot more comfortable with people I’m familiar with when there is something that needs doing/ tackling but I am sure that’s natural right 😊.

What’s on for your week ahead?

Re: Hello

Hey again @Dimity @Cuddlebear 🤗. Do any of you watch Masterchef? The final is on tonight I haven’t watched the last episode yet, I have wanted to do that before tonight but time has got away ☺️.

lovely landing here to chat 💚, off for a walk with 🐶🐾 soon. Not sure where we will go yet

Re: Hello

Hello @Cuddlebear @Chasingsunsets Nice to hear from you.

I don't actually have a TV set so won't be watching MasterChef but I guess the final episode is pretty important... will you stream the secondlast episode first?

I'm not surprised Pilates is expensive per session. Years ago I had a gym membership that had an expensive subscription i couldn't continue with. Friends do yoga at their local Neighborhood Houses where the cost is more reasonable.

Our masked lapwings are over 20 years old but have never successfully raised a chick unfortunately. The area is much more built up than it used to be, making it harder for them to forage.

Sorry to hear about the brain issue @Chasingsunsets - no drama, most of us here have challenges. You have heaps to offer regardless. Did you enjoy the walk with Indi?

@Dimity hi! Long time. I'm checking in again to say g'day. Also waves to @Shaz51 if you are around. Its raining here and i'm tucked up in tge warm. My wife is making us dinner Chicken, mash and veggies.

I see thredbo was minus 21 effective with 130km winds today! Brrr.

Going to watch a film from 2006 tonight called The prestige with Hugh Jackman and christian bale. Looks promising.

Re: Hello

Oh yeah @Dimity I remember you don’t now I am thinking back re tv, sorry I forgot. You aren’t missing much really 😊. I should have watched the episode before first but I didn’t, just skipped it.

Yeah I am a little be caught in knowing what might help and save me from further issues and something to be sustainable. Not sure how I’ll make it work. Bit agitated by it a bit a hard spot to sit in. I’m a bit worried about my lungs and the muscle weakness. Not sure if I’ll have to go for further testing or not re what it could be. Would have been nice to just see if I could solidly work on muscle strength just to see if it was posture related re spine but I guess just got to go with it. I haven’t really talked about this with anyone but it does worry me a bit. TBC - lost my button 🤪

Re: Hello

@Dimity Oh wow! Really your mask lapwings 20years old that is amazing! I didn’t even know they lived that long! That’s really cool. Funny when they nest in the parks the council put cones around them so they make sure not to mow over their nests, which I think is lovely.Oh yes that’s okay about my 🧠 sometimes I wish you could just go to the store and buy another one 😊. Yeah I did like my walk with indi always so nice to get out into the fresh air. How’s your night going?

Re: Hello

Hiya @MoonGal that dinner sounds delish. Thredbo sounds freezing. It wasn't as cold and wet here as I expected. You must be just about recovered from surgery now I hope.

Re: Hello

Hi @Chasingsunsets it's definitely worth pursuing the muscle toning to help with your spine. Actually some physios and osteos provide clinical pilates, and with a chronic care management plan from your gp you can get 5 subsidised sessions.

I'm still getting a bit stiff and sore but it's good to know I'm working muscles I wouldn't usually.

I'm going to try to tidy before bed... I'm a recovering hoarder and trying to challenge myself. Getting a lot of help from the hoarding and tidying threads.
