Hiya Forums Pals!! By popular request (care of several superstar attendees in one of our mental health recovery groups, and a cracker of an ice breaker), this space is for all lovers of potatoes, and all their glorious forms!!

We ask now the whole forums community to join us in our admiration of this fine root vegetable. But, this may split the community asunder as we discuss....

What do you think is the superior form of the humble potato?

Is it the classic hash brown? The noble potato gem? Or the oft-overlooked mash? Maybe something obscure, like gnocchi?

@Jynx cooked potatos with herbs and olive oil is superior. Homemade potatoes that are fried or baked are better than the packet ones, I said what I said

Fresh, hot shoe-string fries EVERY TIME (as long as they're served optimally). Gotta be well-seasoned. I am such a sucker for mashed potatoes though...

Occasionally NQR have the large potato cakes! they were an essential item until I couldn't have gluten anymore!
