Thanks @Zoe7 this is correct - there are several possibilities to build and trial different chat and space options. i'll try to summarise:

1. pop up chat that works like the old webchat, initiated by Mod for a particular reason and period (e.g. early member support or member in distress)

2. smaller spaces that people can view but have their own subcommunity guidelines and goals - just like this space (but a little more visible) so for example a "mental health reform space".

3. semi private spaces set up to look like this hub, closed so others cannot see and just for you a member to journal with yourself but from time to time a mod or peer might connect - either open to all mods/ peers to interact or maybe you choose who you'd like to interact with (but all still visible under the standard moderation settings). This third example is closest to what Jay has been co-designing with us. It functions a bit like a journal where support can also happen.

As I said everyone needs different things and this has been helpful for me and my way of needing support may not be for everyone
