Something’s not right

utiss and sepsis

utiss and sepsis

a number of years ago now i had a uti. nothing strange about that women and indeed men get utis and i have had my fair share anyway .... i didnt realize the symptoms were different from what i had had in the past and i developed sepsis. it was obviously caught in time and i consider myself very lucky indeed.

This story of a young mother who had a uti which was left untreated and developed into sepsis and she died a couple of days later. anyway i felt it was worthwhile posting for those who felt they could have a uti but the symptoms were different or were being ignored. it is a sad story but a timely one. https://www.abc.net.au/news/2026-08-02/young-mother-died-missed-uti-infection-sepsis/106950668

@Bunniekins

Thanks for sharing! I had a relative who almost died from sepsis from a UTI about 2 years ago. I’m so grateful that both you and them were able to be treated.
