Not broken

Not broken

If life seems hopeless and you cannot get motivated to do anything, remember you are NOT broken. And you never were.

The fact you have survived in an uncertain world means something. You might feel beaten and things can seem pointless, but that is always a lie. Always.

Remember, life can turn on a dime - just like that. You never know what you never know. Opportunity is all around you, its just murky and dark in your world and that makes the signs hard to see. But consider this:

  • You can be certain the sun will come up in the morning.
  • Every day presents new opportunities if you have a little faith.
  • Things were not always so difficult and they never stay fixed, nothing does.
  • You mean something to at least one other person, probably more. If you have a pet, you are their whole world. Think about that.
  • Its always darkest right before the dawn.
  • Within every problem are the seeds of something good - you just have to look for it.
  • Whether you believe you can do something or you believe its impossible, you are 'right' either way. Make the positive choice.
  • You can always take one small step forward, then another. We call it walking when you just rinse and repeat. Choose to celebrate small wins and soon they will grow into bigger wins, it just takes a shift in thinking.
  • Never beat yourself up when you slip. Everyone stuffs up, its normal. Perfection is the exception.
