Hey! Nice to meet everybody.
I've got some questions about a new antipsychotic medication I started taking recently. Where do I post questions of that nature?

Hi @Blue-Memories
A warm 👋🏼🌞🌻welcome and thanks for letting us know a bit about the issues you'd like to get support with🌿.
I can hear you have some questions about antipsychotic medication you started recently and are wondering where you can post this. A good starting point may be the Mental Health space, which you find here 👉🏼 https://www.sane.org/information-and-resources/the-sane-blog/categories/mental-illness
Members are welcome to talk about the impact of medications and their mental health, as long as medication names aren't specifically mentioned - as per the guidelines which ask members to limit detailed descriptions. You can read more about the Community Guidelines here 👉🏼 https://saneforums.org/articles/community-guidelines
I hope this information helps and it's great to see you reaching out here for support🪷!

I tried to reply to you @Blue-Memories but for some reason it didn't get through
I'm sure I didn't mention specific medications
But I recommend speaking to a trusted medical professional
And following @TunedIn 's advice
Be well

@TunedIn I certainly did not expect it to be okay to discuss "Plant medicine" (Your emoji) on a forum where specific medications cannot be named
I'm a little floored, particuularly coming from a moderator

Hi @DogMan79,
I'm responding as the moderator currently on shift.
I want to clarify the moderator @TunedIn did not use the emoji to refer to any specific medications, but in the context of the discussion and the members question. The post included the relevant Community Guidelines -Limit Detailed Descriptions-avoid medication names and dosages. I hope this helps to clarify and please reach out if you have any further concerns.

Thanks for providing this clarification @wonderingalice1! And yes this emoji was definitely not a reference to plant medicine or medications of any sort, but rather my attempt to make the message visually interesting✨! @Blue-Memories you didn't cause any trouble and I hope you keep reaching out for support🪷.

hi @Blue-Memories how are you?
I have used antipsychotics for sleep and found them helpful, but after a while they stopped working, which was horrible tbh. I needed them to sleep, then just couldn't sleep. I'm still struggling with insomnia. Do uhave a psychiatrist managing yourm edications?
