$90 per fortnight is a big increase ☹️

where I live everyone only pays site fees as we don’t own the land, we only own our unit.

site fees increase once a yr by a percentage amount, this year approx 6.5%.

this means site fees have increased from approx $25 per fortnight to $50 per fortnight.

not long home from psychologist appointment. Heading out very soon to vet appointment for both cats (yrly check up etc)

I don’t feel like I’m part of the forum community anymore. Don’t feel welcome or wanted anymore hence I’m leaving. Will I be back at some time in the future ….. idk, possibly not

forums are not as warm, welcoming or supportive as they used to be.

@Flutterbug9 I'm so sorry that you don't feel welcome here sweet. I hope i haven't done anything to make you feel that way. It's been really hard when notifications haven't been working but they are finally fixed now and emails are working again too. I've been trying to catch up on threads that I haven't been able to for a while but haven't got around to all of them yet.

The $90 is still a big increase but it was meant to be $140 a fortnight that they wanted to increase it by.

Even that's a fair hike when you think about it, hoping it's still manageable for you though.

How did your psychologist appointment go? Hope the vet appointment for your gorgeous cats went ok ❤️.

@MissGremlin has been lots of things involving mix of people including psw’s that have slowly been adding up, impact of which has seen me not being on the forums very much. Fact that I have posted on 2 different threads that I’m leaving the forums and you are only person who has responded on one thread screams volumes and speaks for itself.

I can’t afford to say much due to risk of this thread being closed

@Flutterbug9  I'm so sorry sweet. I know it's really hard when you post something and don't get a reply and the rejection sets in.

Maybe try to remember that the forums have been quite glitchy for a while and they have only just started to run smoothly now. Notifications haven't been working properly until now especially when multiple people were tagged. The peer support workers were also impacted by this not just us members.

No matter what you decide to do sweet know that it's always been lovely to talk to you and I've appreciated your support. I truly wish you the best sweetheart, lots of love and hugs to you ❤️.

Summary of actual situation that has added to my feelings of not being wanted. @MissGremlin

a reply was posted to something I had posted. The content of reply was connected to things I had mentioned but person tagged and referred to in post was different person on the forums. That person has posted that incorrect person was tagged. Only one person tagged. The person who tagged the incorrect person has been active in the forums very recently but no follow up has been done. Has added to my feelings of being unwanted, unheard and not cared about.

the new program brought in challenges for everyone, I totally agree. I’m referring to things that started happening whilst we were on the old program.

there is lot more that has happened, things that have slowly been building for mths. Things that I’m fully realising now have been having negative impact on my MH.

chatwee and topic evenings went first, then psw’s roles changed, to name couple of things

some things that have happened I can’t mention on here. Different people I miss for their support plus chats including Tyme and Jynx

@Flutterbug9 I know the post you are talking about. I believe they tagged the wrong person which i know could be both confusing and upsetting.

There's been alot of changes around here and it's had impacts on many of us. But the community itself is still here for each other, even when it was hard to connect we persevered through it.

I'm sorry that there's many things that have had a huge impact on you sweet, I can understand how hard it must be. Do what you need to look after yourself sweetheart, we will always be here for you no matter what ❤️.

Hi @Flutterbug9 I just wanted to say I’m so sorry to hear that you don’t feel welcomed here in the forums :( your frustration is so so valid & I hear you. Honestly, the new system in this forums is a joke because none of us are getting notifications from users tagging us, specifically via emails. The old system allowed me to receive email notifications from users tagging me, whereas this current system doesn’t and it’s really really annoying how much this current system doesn’t allow that to happen anymore. :(

I also totally feel you about not feeling belonged here, because like you, I don’t feel belonged here either for a few different reasons. Hence why I haven’t been active on here very often these days, and this current system that we’re having adds another reason why I don’t feel like being on here these days.

These days, I don’t have the capacity to respond to everyone tagging me as it feels too overwhelming & sometimes I might give a response that is already a few weeks or so later than the post that someone tagged me on that I flag from the email notifications that allow me to remember that I need to get back to - but only if the response I got tagged on is something that is worth for me responding to. You might even notice I think from 2 weeks ago or something that I only supported your post where you tagged me on this thread as I wanted to show you that I’ve read it, and that if I don’t respond it’s because it’s too overwhelming for me to be able to respond. ❤️

i really liked chatting with you on your ‘my silent battles’ thread before this current system occurred. It feels really nice to be able to connect with another user on here like you that has a lived experience of being neurodivergent and knows so well on what it’s like to be neurodivergent in terms of anything we experience and how we both feel about it.😊 I love to continue talking to you on here again and I’ll greatly miss you if you do leave ❤️

though, know that I won’t always come on here due to the reasons I’ve stated about me not feeling like coming on here much these days. 🌸
