Welcome and getting started

Midlife and mental health

Midlife and mental health

Hi.

I am a 47 year old, who works and advocates in the mental health space.

I have ADHD my self which leads me into a burn out cycle which can cause anxiety and depression to get worse.

I am feeling increasingly more isolated as I am getting older and don't know many people with ADHD which I feel can lead me to feel more alone.

I am passionate about and work with people with ADHD and have been in the mental health space for over ten years and love what I do.

I love to support others but find it hard to find support in my personal life.

I'm hoping to connect with others that may be in the field or related field or anyone that can relate to midlife or ADHD affects in their life.

Thank you so much!

Hi @Jpctoday

I don't have ADHD

Apparently it might be eligible for the upcoming Foundational Supports run by the states and territories. Like "NDIS Lite" from 2028 forward
