My paranoia
My Paranoia
It starts with a small thought
and it slowly grows
and it seems silly
that I do know
I stand at the mirror
Starring at my refection
But I do not see myself
I do not have any recognition
I feel I am at a window
and I am peering in
And what I see inside the room
Lets my paranoia begin
I feel that I am trapped
In a bloody cage
I feel I am being prodded with a stick
And that fills me with rage
I avoid people
For fear that they will talk
I then wonder if there will be gossip
Then I will sit and watch like a hawk
I stand at the mirror
Looking at a mark on my face
Wondering what it might be
And worry myself
And for illness I would brace
I get so paranoid
That I will disappear up the bush
I would sit for hours
Hoping people would not come looking
And feel like I am being pushed
Sometimes I get the feeling
People do things to make me hurt
But I know deep down
that this completely inert
I am lucky though with medication
That this doesn’t happen very much
For thankfully now my paranoia
Is for me hardly ever touched
