hello all

I wanted to introduce myself I am a 40 year old paramedic originally from the UK now working in Australia.

The older I have got the more isolated I have felt and events of my past have started effecting my present.

would like to see if anyone else has these issues and talk about thinks and experience

I'm pretty good. I feel quite driven to get a few things done over this long weekend. Just stuff that I haven't had a chance to do.

@tyme the unhealthy way for working as much as I can as far away as I can so my days off are driving days.

not a healthy coping mechanism.

Whilst it's not 'healthy', it may be the best coping mechanism for now? It adds a sense of responsibility and accountantability which is what some people need when things are really hard.

But yes, it's not sustainable. @NPWM

What do you like to do when you are free to do what you want? Or what would you like to ideally do?

@tyme @I like to drive which is why I work long distances. Apart from that I don’t have much free time I tried to self teach the guitar but that’s not going well

Hey there, a newbie here too and I can relate to your comment about withdrawing, I am feeling exactly the same way at the moment and not too sure why. I can’t explain it to my friends either or my family. Just feel so flat!
