Re: My story

Hey @Ollie2026 ,

Welcome to the forums. Great to have you with us. There's a whole community here waiting to hear you out.

I have lived experience of BPD so I know first hand what it is like - and yes, I have to say that some days aren't the easiest.

Please know you are not alone.

I also wanted to add a small note that the forums here are an anonymous platform so I've had to remove your name from your post above. You can read the guidelines here: https://saneforums.org/t5/help/faqpage/title/community-guidelines

Looking forward to hearing from you.

Are there anything you love doing or look forward for?

Re: My story

Sorry bout that.

I write songs and lyrics and stuff and use ai studio so it’s a little cheating but it’s a way to get my lyrics out

I’m sorry you struggle too!. It’s not easy

but what do you enjoy

Re: My story

Hey doesn't sound like you're doing very well. I'm sorry to see that as everyone deserves to feel like they aren't a waste of space. I can promise you that your being way to hard on your self. I don't even know you and I can assure you that you're definitely not that wasted space that you think that you are. I know it's hard to shift the bad feelings and thoughts of what we feel about ourselves. Button order to beat mental health issues we must overlook those things and push forward by being positive in our own minds. As that is one of the biggest accomplishments when it comes to staying well. And being on the road to recovery.

Re: My story

BPD sucks. For me I think the worst part is the extremes of emotion. That constant high to low sucks. Can promise you're not a waste of space though, no matter what you feel moment by moment.

Feel free to talk about anything you need to.

Re: My story

@Mr_Be @nomoresilance99 @Ollie2026 i dont even know if i think bpd is a thing sometimes. So easy to be diagnosed with if ur a woman. I dont have bpd but i have some overlap with cptsd.

The issue can be trust. My goodness is it hard for me..does anyone relate?

Re: My story

@Ollie2026 , nah, that's not cheating. @Ollie2026

Do whatever works for you. It's good to hear that you find writing lyrics helps.

That's awesome stuff!

I like chilling on the beach or spending time in the pool. I like going for walks with the dog, as long as I don't have to rush home for anything.

Did you get up to much today?

Re: My story

Hey @Mr_Be ,

Yeah, I hear you when it comes to the highs and lows. I lived that for many years of my life. I wonder if people end up just finding what works for them and they learn to manage?

Do you find anything that is helpful for you?

Re: My story

@EternalFlower Not actually sure I've ever been able to let myself fully trust anyone before tbh. I mean I let people in well enough, but boy has it bitten me something savage too many times. Honestly not sure there's anyone I've ever been able to give everything to.

As far as BPD, it seems almost fake (like imposter syndrome almost - like it's just a trendy new diagnosis to be one of the cool kids). I don't really get it.
I got a diagnosis for it a few years ago, but again with the trust thing and knowing how I was back then, I most likely didn't even get close to telling everything. Pretty sure I only saw the guy once too so... I dunno. I'm not one to self-diagnose, and definitely resistant to psychiatric treatment if I can avoid it. I should go and get checked out properly, but that damned trust thing again. No thank you. I think ignorance is definitely bliss sometimes. **Definitely not medical advice**
