Recovery after hospital discharge
I seem to be having a slow recovery. I’ve been out of hospital for 4.5 weeks and still don’t feel like I’ve recovered much. Has anyone else had similar experiences?

i @Jase you could enquire about P.A.R.C.S to get you back on your feet. It's sometimes used as a step-down back to the real world

Hi @Jase
I’m sorry to hear your recovery is feeling slow. Discharging from hospital can be very challenging. I came out of hospital a few weeks ago and am still adjusting to real life. I personally find it hard to go from having support whenever I need it to weekly therapy. Do you have any support like a psychiatrist/psychologist/counsellor? Having someone you can talk to even if it’s just a friend could be beneficial. Have you noticed any small changes since leaving hospital? Celebrating the small wins is necessary. For example, in the past few weeks since leaving hospital, I’ve found it a bit easier to get out of bed and start my day. Do you have any small wins? I also find it helpful to try and schedule activities even if I don’t really want to do them. It gives me something to do instead of just lying in bed. I really hope things pick up for you soon!
