Co-Design Checkpoint: Please Review Our Discussion Themes

Hi all, many thanks for your patience while we have been analysing the themes emerging from the hundreds of posts you've contributed to this discussion.

As @RachSANECEO has explained in another thread, our team has been hit hard by COVID over the last few months, and we also have welcomed some new team members to start collating your feedback and turning it into actionable steps for the future.

I am one of those new people, as SANE's Manager of Digital Communities.

Attached to this post is the full analysis of themes (about 6,000 words), including what you believe is working well on the forums and where we could make some improvements.

I will provide a brief summary of the document in the post below this one.

What we would like from you

Could you please have a read through the themes, and let us know here in the thread if:

(a) This accurately captures the discussions we've been having here

(b) Whether we've missed anything

We'll leave this thread open until April 2 (just after Easter).

What happens next?

We are currently analysing the results of a Community Survey we've been running alongside this co-design hub. The survey asked forum members and non-members to provide feedback on how useful the forums are, to help us understand how they could be improved.

The survey has recently closed; we received a total of 475 responses. Next month, we will cross-check these survey results with the themes here (and any additional feedback you provide this month). We will then plan some further research to explore certain areas in more depth throughout May and June.

In the meantime, operational planning is already underway to begin implementing some of the suggestions outlined in the co-design hub themes. We will keep yourselves and the wider forums community updated along the way as each of these are addressed.
